The fishing village of Ballantrae is located in South Ayrshire and has wonderful views of Ailsa Craig, the Mull of Kintyre, the island of Arran and the coastline of Northern Ireland.

With ferries to Ireland operated by Stena and P&O, a day trip to Belfast and the Antrim Coast via the Stranraer and Cairnryan ferries is popular with guests.  You can be at the ferry port in half an hour and an early breakfast can be arranged.

No tour Scotland would be complete without a visit to sample the many things to do in Dumfries and Galloway such as a visit to picturesque Portpatrick or the Mull of Galloway Lighthouse, on the Rhinns of Galloway, Scotland’s most southerly point.
