At 14 miles to the ferry port of Cairnryan and 20 miles to Stranraer, Balkissock Lodge has been a stopover for many guests requiring bed and breakfast (B&B) when catching ferries to and from Northern Ireland. It is also an ideal base for exploring Ayrshire, the Mull of Galloway and the Galloway Forrest as well as for those who enjoy fishing and golfing or walking the Ayrshire Coastal Path.

All rooms are en-suite with Premium Rooms featuring full-size bathrooms, Freesat TV and wi-fi. Relax in the guest lounge which has Freesat TV, library and board games or the conservatory where meals are taken in the summer months. The laundry room is ideal for drying water proofs and wet motorcycle leathers and there is ample private parking.
